What Flood Control Watch is
Flood Control Watch is an independent, AI-powered tool that summarizes public reports about flood control projects in the Philippines. It is not affiliated with DPWH, COA, Congress, the Office of the President, or any government agency.
Answers are generated automatically from web search results and can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Always check the linked sources. An allegation, testimony, complaint, investigation, or audit observation is not proof of wrongdoing; everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty by final judgment.
Corrections and takedown requests
If an answer is inaccurate or unfair to a person or company, use Report a problem under the answer. That answer is immediately removed from our cache and queued for review.
What data we process
- Your questions are sent to OpenAI to classify and answer them, and OpenAI runs web searches based on a rewritten version of your question. We ask OpenAI not to store responses (
store: false). See OpenAI's privacy policy for how it handles API data. - Your IP address is used only to prevent abuse (rate limits). It is converted to a keyed hash before it is stored or logged, and rate-limit counters expire within 48 hours.
- Logs contain request metadata (timestamps, hashed identifiers, answer status, number of sources, errors), not the text of your questions. Logs are kept for up to 30 days.
- Reports you submit, including any details you type, are kept so we can review them.
- Shared answers: when you click Share, a copy of that answer becomes public at its own link for up to 180 days. It contains a neutral rewrite of your question, never your exact words, plus the answer and its sources. Shared answers are not listed in search engines. Anyone can report one, which takes it down immediately for review.
- Your conversation is kept only in this browser tab (session storage) so it survives a reload. It is deleted when you close the tab or click New chat, and it is never sent to us except as part of your next question.
Please don't enter personal information (names of private individuals, phone numbers, addresses, ID numbers) in your questions.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) you may ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you.
